Antonio (Tony) Ruiz is the CEO and founder of Tony’s Barbeque and Steaks Tony absolutely loves the art of making delicious barbeque, and has given his life to it. Throughout the 1980s, and into the mid-1990s, Tony spent 15 years honing his craft at a local BBQ restaurant in Houston.
Shortly after a corporate buyout, Tony went to work for a small, family owned restaurant. In 1994, Tony bought out the place and created the first Tony’s Barbecue and Steaks restaurant, located in Baytown, Texas.
